What is the Paint Enhancement Service?

This service is perfect for newer vehicles that don’t need a full paint correction. A single-stage machine polish will help show the natural gloss and shine of the paintwork at a budget-conscious price. Paint Enhancement removes the bulk of swirling marks and reveals a glossy, sharp, and true color in a quicker timeframe. Our paint enhancement service uses mild abrasive, various size polishing pads, and machines. This service is great for car owners who are new to the detailing service – or who are leasing a vehicle. *Please allow 1.5 days for this process.

What is the Paint Enhancement Service?

Our most popular package! Perfect for any car enthusiasts who like driving a defect-free car! Paint can become damaged from previous years of chemicals, bad technique, or harsh machines. For dull, hazy paint that has been exposed to oxidation, filled with light swirls and scratches, a two-stage machine is required. The paint needs to be deep cleaned with a combination of medium and ultra-fine polishing brushes. We use Gtechniq Panel Wipe to ensure a proper bond of the ceramic coating to follow on your paintwork. Minimal paint is removed during this process this way we are protecting your paint for the long haul. Based on our experience, this package is best for cars between 1-5 years old. *Please allow 2.5 days for this process between our Pure Bond Wash, Paint Enhancement Polish, and Ceramic Coating application.

What is the Full Correction Service?

Your car’s paint probably looks tired and lifeless, but you don’t want the cost of having it resprayed. If you’re ready for a better than show-room quality look for your car, the Major Paint Correction removes 95% of defects. Unlike our other paint correction packages, this detail is intense. Multiple machine polishing passes are made to remove stubborn defects, such as deep scratches, bird etchings, bodyshop buffer trails, and sanding marks. Major paint corrections will take more time than you’d expect. We always err on the side of caution. Some scratches or thinned paint are too profound to safely removed all defects. However, rounding off scratches can help visibly reduce flaws. Over 95% of paint correction is guaranteed to transform your vehicle into a better than show-room worthy car! *Please allow 3 days + for this process.

How do you clean interior windows?

Magic eraser can only be used on windows that are not tinted. A magic eraser is a melamine foam pad, that is equivalent to 10,000 grit sandpaper. Extremely effective on tough window issues, when they are not tinted. I use that method when needed, and Glassparency’s alcohol based glass cleaner. I find it to be superior to invisible glass. If needed, sometimes I even steam the glass first. I use a waffle weave on Glassparency’s cleaner to start with, steam or magic eraser if needed, then waffle again then finish with a dry wiping short pile towel or more then one if needed. I also do it under high intensity lighting which I find to be superior.

What chemicals do you use for wiping the interior?

Gtechniq’s products are high quality superior products to most out there. I cannot speak of the ability for Armor All to reject dirt and dust, nor as far as I can tell from the products description or reviews does it have the ability to reject dirt and dust only clean it, however I can say that c6 Matte Dash has killer dust/dirt repellency. When it’s applied there is a NOTICEABLE difference in the frequency of needing to clean the dash and or door cards. If you want the best and that effect to continue, then you would want to stick with c6. It will save you time overall, even though the cost of the product is much higher. The real goal of all Gtechniq’s products, is to save you time. Time is our least available resource these days.

Pre c6, I use Tri Clean by Gtechniq.

I2 Tri-Clean is an all-surface interior product that cleans, kills 99.9% of bacteria and absorbs odours. However, that in and of itself may not actually solve your smell in your seat, especially if the smell itself is actually inside the seat, which is why I recommended ozone.

Developed in conjunction with the global leader in antibacterial and antimicrobial technology, BioCote®, I2 ensures surfaces remain hygienic and fresh, by actively reducing the number of microbes.

I2 also contains a true odour absorber, not an odour mask, that elimnates tacky residues that attract dirt.

What do you use to condition the leather after protecting it with Gtechniq's product?

Many leather products market themselves on how they feed leather, when in fact this is not needed. Most modern automotive leather use synthetic fat liquors which do not evaporate. Any product that is designed to feed leathers will not be absorbed by modern automotive leathers but instead remain on the surface attracting dirt which will then act as an abrasive foreshortening the leather’s finish. Not every modern leather uses synthetic fat liquors. From the looks of it, yours does not. However, if we are going to compare chemical guys versus Gtechniq leather guard… Leather guard still is the most ideal, as it adds abrasion resistance and helps prevent moisture from escaping the leather itself and drying out.

Will the leather protectant block leather conditioners from working (i.e. is it waterproof?)

Leather Guard will in fact block leather products like “leather lotion” products, in addition to an abrasion and liquid resistance it also helps blocks things like pant dye from penetrating the leather. “Leather Lotion”  products are only effective for dry older leathers that do not have synthetic fat liquors that need rejuvenation. However, if your car is new enough car that the leather is not in need of additional moistening from a leather conditioner anyway, it can however benefit massively in the long haul from the leather guards ability to provide abrasion resistance, which is what causes leather to wear to begin with. Hope that makes sense. Be sure to ask me about that one, it blew my mind when I learned about it! – Matt

If in an accident, my insurance will cover re-application of serum. Does this require that I list this as a custom add-on to my vehicle? Do I need to tell them I have it on and pay extra for insurance?

Most insurance companies do not require you to add on a custom add on, but be sure to check with them. Most will cover reapplication. To add some confidence to your question, I have yet to see someone not get covered, as insurance companies are fully aware of what these coatings are, but I would still call them and double check. I do re-coats on sprayed panels all the time, so if you did get in a wreck, be sure to call me and let me know so I can get you on the schedule once the insurance work is done.

We are here to help your car have the “just waxed” look - for up to 9 years!
